What are HSA & FSA accounts? Dental benefits care reimbursement is eligible with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), health reimbursement arrangement and limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA).
These are health savings accounts. Your company allows you to put before tax money into a card. This can then be used for any medical and dental expenses. So most people use it to pay for their copays, electric toothbrushes, waterpiks, whitening procedures etc.
Some companies will put some money into that account for you as you add from your own paycheck.
As you are reaching the end of the year, not all companies allow for the money in that card to be rolled over to the next year. Thus if you have money in your card, consider using it for services that you wanted to get done but have not yet.
While insurances don’t cover cosmetic dentistry treatment, you can use this money for whitening. You can also use it for various dental products like electric toothbrushes, waterpiks, whitening gels, fluoride toothpastes etc.
So check how much you have on your FSA or HSA dental benefits account so that you don’t lose those funds!
Use your Flexible Spending Account before the year ends so you do not lose these excellent benefits. Everything I have had done at Premier Smile Center has been top-notch. The treatment I received was thorough, precise and extremely professional. I never felt like just another patient because they took the time to listen to my concerns. They addressed my issues and we agreed on the treatment plan together.
The staff is very friendly, warm and extremely knowledgeable. I felt relaxed and comfortable knowing I chose the right place to get the dental work I needed. Dr. Johnson is very humane and very knowledgeable, and she does amazing work. I like the friendliness and honesty of the whole practice. I was not confident with my smile, in fact I was very self conscious and rarely smiled. Premier Smile Center has changed all that. My smile is one of the things I like the most.
